Total THC or CBD in your recipe
÷ number of equal servings
= amount per serving
÷ number of equal servings
= amount per serving
Example: 120 mg in your recipe ÷ 12 equal servings = 10 mg per serving.

For an infusion with a known strength: mg per mL × mL used = mg in the recipe. For flower: grams × 1,000 × cannabinoid percentage gives starting cannabinoid content before losses. Separate acid values use a 0.877 molecular-weight conversion; total-potency labels already include it.
For a recipe target: chosen mg per serving × servings ÷ infusion strength = infused oil needed. Top up with uninfused oil only when it fits the recipe’s total.

Can I use this with other oils, butter or tinctures?
Yes! This calculator works with Green Queen’s Potency Booster, coconut oil, MCT oil, olive oil, butter, alcohol-based tinctures, and other edible infusions.
Does Potency Booster change the calculation?
No. The calculator uses the cannabis strength and amounts you enter. Choose Green Queen’s Potency Booster as your base, then enter your own batch details.
What if I don’t know my THC or CBD percentage?
As a rough guide:
- Cannabis flower: around 15–20% THC.
- Wax, shatter or rosin: commonly 60–90% THC.
Use your label’s percentage whenever possible. If you use an estimate, your result will be an estimate too. For CBD, check your label.
My label lists THC and THCA. Which number do I use?
Look for Total THC and enter that percentage.
If your label lists THC and THCA separately, choose “My label lists THCA separately” and enter both numbers. We’ll do the math.
Can I use a tincture, concentrate, or CBD oil?
Yes! Choose the path that matches your label:
- Concentrate labeled with a percentage: choose “Cannabis flower or concentrate.”
- Oil or tincture labeled in milligrams: choose “Infused oil, butter or tincture.”
For a CBD-only product, select CBD.
Does this tell me how much to take?
No. This calculator estimates the THC or CBD in each serving using the numbers you enter. It doesn’t recommend a personal dose or replace a lab test. Homemade batches can vary in strength.
