A bowl of mac and cheese should know exactly what it’s here to do: warm you up, bring the cheddar, and leave you eyeing the saucepan for seconds.
We start with a smooth cheese sauce, then fold in the pasta. Choose infused Original Potency Booster, already-infused Delta-8 Potency Booster, cannabutter or regular butter below. The ingredient amounts and sauce instructions change with your choice.

Preparing an Original Potency Booster infusion takes additional time. Have it infused and strained before you start cooking.
Ingredient amounts adjust with your batch.
Infuse and strain your Original Potency Booster before starting. Use 3 tablespoons of the prepared infusion—not the whole jar.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to its package directions. Before draining, scoop out ½ cup of the cooking water and set it aside. Drain the pasta.
Warm the 3 tablespoons of infused Potency Booster in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the flour and stir for 1–2 minutes, until you have a smooth paste.
Add a small splash of milk and whisk until smooth. Gradually whisk in the rest. Cook gently, stirring along the bottom and sides, until the sauce thickens enough to coat a spoon. Do not let it boil hard.
Take the pan off the heat. Add the grated cheese a handful at a time, stirring until melted before adding more. Stir in the mustard, paprika, salt and pepper.
Fold the drained macaroni into the sauce until evenly coated. If the sauce is too thick, stir in the reserved pasta water 1 tablespoon at a time. Divide into 4 equal portions and serve warm.
Using an infusion? Check its strength and the amount going into the whole dish. Dividing the food into equal portions does not measure the THC in each one; that requires reliable ingredient information and even mixing.
Allergens: this recipe contains wheat and milk. Original Potency Booster also contains soy and coconut. Check every ingredient’s label, including whichever infusion you choose.
Estimate your recipe’s cannabinoid content ↗Grate the cheddar before you start. Take the sauce off the heat before adding it, then stir in a handful at a time. Gentle heat helps you avoid a grainy sauce.
A splash gives you room to adjust the sauce as the pasta goes in. Add gradually so it stays creamy rather than watery.
The fat-and-flour paste is called a roux. Stir until there are no dry pockets before adding milk. Add the first splash slowly and whisk it smooth before pouring in more.
This recipe makes four servings, so we’ve used 4 teaspoons of Delta-8 Potency Booster—one teaspoon for each serving.
For the sauce, Potency Booster and butter need to add up to 3 tablespoons (9 teaspoons). The 4 teaspoons of Potency Booster leave room for 5 teaspoons of regular butter, or 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons.
To make a stronger batch, replace some of the regular butter with the same amount of Potency Booster. For a less potent batch, do the reverse. Keep the combined amount at 3 tablespoons, and check your jar’s strength when recalculating the estimated THC per serving.
Yes. Original contains no cannabis before you add your own. Prepare and strain your infusion according to its package, then measure the recipe’s 3 tablespoons. Delta-8 Potency Booster is already infused and does not need that preparation.
Yes. Choose regular butter above. You’ll use 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter and the same pasta, milk, flour, cheese and seasonings. The instructions update to match.
Refrigerate in shallow containers within 2 hours, or 1 hour if the temperature is above 90°F. Use within 4 days and reheat to 165°F. Add a little milk or water and stir gently to loosen the sauce. That is a calculation assumption, not a measurement. You need reliable infusion-strength information, thorough mixing and equal portions to make a useful estimate. A homemade dish has not been tested just because its ingredients were measured. How serving estimates work →
